 Gillingham
midfielder Andy Barcham has been voted Player of the Year
and Away Player of the Year by GISC members. Club captain Barry Fuller and
striker Simeon Jackson finished second
and third respectively.GISC Player of the Year and Away Player of the
Year Andy Barcham has made 42 appearances for the Gills this season
scoring 8 goals. His impressive performances playing as a midfielder
and a striker caught the eye both at Priestfield and away from home.
Lifelong Gills fan Paul Formoy was awarded the GISC Supporter of
the Year award. Paul has not missed a Gills game home or away
since 1986 and was a more than worthy winner.
Due to the awards announcement taking place prior to
Gillingham's final home game of the season against Southampton
the players were unable to attend, but all awards will presented
to the winners in person during the close season.
