March Winners:
The GISC, Pam and Keith would like to thank all the teams who entered
the March quiz night, which was the biggest yet with 9 teams competing
for the Jack Ackril Memorial Trophy.
Four teams finished the evening with 38 points, so a tie-break
question of: How many standing ovations did Gordon Brown receive from
U.S. Congress when he addressed them in March 2009? was used.
"The Flamborough Rat Catchers" guessed the correct answer of 19 which
saw them crowned quiz champions for March. The final standings were:-
|
1st - The Flamborough Rat Catches - 38 points
(guessed 19 on tie-break)
2nd - We told you Ii was Nokia! - 38 points
