All GISC members should have now received Player of the Year
voting forms through the post along with the latest issue of the
GISC newsletter.Members are given the chance to
vote for which player they would like to win the original Gills
Player of the Year trophy and take their place alongside the likes of Brian Yeo, John
Simpson, Steve Bruce, Terry Cochrane, Tony Cascarino, Robert
Taylor and Paul Smith.
Last
season defender Simon King scooped a GISC awards double being
named Player of the Year and Away Player of the year.
Goalkeeper Simon Royce and midfielder
Andy Barcham finished second

The GISC Player of the Year trophies
If you wish to cast your vote all GISC members should fully
complete the voting form, listing your top three players along with your name and membership number.
Once completed your form should be returned to GISC Honorary
Secretary Neil Klee, 66 Abbey Road, Strood, Rochester, Kent, ME2
3QB, to reach him no later than Wednesday 21st April 2010.
Alternatively you can email your votes to
POTY@GillsISC.co.uk.
Emails should contain your top three players, in order, along
with your full address and membership number.
Supporters who travel regually on the GISC coach will be given the
opportunity to vote for their GISC Away Player of the Year.
Placings
The format for determining the winner and minor
places is as follows:-
Each player receives 3 points for every first
place vote, 2 points for every second place vote and 1 point for
each third place vote.

This seasons GISC Player of the Year voting form - make
sure your vote counts
The winner of this seasons awards, including the
GISC Supporter of the Year, will be announced in the
Royal British Legion Club
on Saturday 1st May, prior to Gillingham's final home game
against Southampton.
